Wedmira collects only what we need to run the marketplace — and we treat couple data as the couple’s, not ours. This page describes what we collect, why, who gets to see it, and how to take it back.
What we collect
- Account. Email, name, and your role (couple, vendor, admin).
- Couple profile. Partner name, wedding date, city, guest count, budget range, and the free-text vision you write.
- Vendor profile. Business name, category, location, photos, tagline, description, pricing, and listing status.
- Inquiries and messages. The text of what you send through the platform, the vendor it was sent to, and (if you opted in) whether it was broadcast to similar vendors.
- Bookings and reviews. Confirmed booking dates and any review you write tied to a confirmed booking.
- Guest list. Names, optional emails, RSVP status, meal choices, table assignments, and any notes you add.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the site.
- We do not silently broadcast your inquiry. The default is "send to this vendor only." You have to opt in to broadcast and we show the choice on every inquiry.
Who sees what
- Vendors see the inquiries and messages you send them. Once you confirm a booking, they see the wedding date and any details you share in conversation.
- Other couples only see what is intentionally public: vendor listings and verified-booking reviews.
- Wedmira staff sees data only when investigating a specific support ticket or moderation case.
Your rights
- Export. Visit /api/export/me while signed in to download a JSON dump of everything we know about you.
- Delete. Email privacy@wedmira.com to request deletion. We will confirm and process within 30 days.
- Correct. Most fields are editable directly in /me, /onboarding, or /vendor-edit.
Cookies and similar
